Draft Horse Gym is a proud sponsor of The 2017 Bath Steeplechase an 8K European style cross country race beginning at the Bath Community Park and meandering through the Bath Nature Preserve.

It features low jumps over hay bales, logs, equestrian gates, a stream crossing as well as other manageable obstacles. The scenic course will traverse through portions of the former, historic Firestone property.

Proceeds from the 8K and 2K fun run will benefit the parks by allowing the Park Board (a 501c nonprofit) to provide items for the parks that tax dollars do not. Bath Township's park levy is for maintenance and operations only, not capital improvements.

This year's fundraising is to install a new shelter at Bath Hill Park.
